7 Months Old

She crawls EVERYWHERE. 3 days ago she got under the lamp table, unplugged the lamp, and stuck her finger in the outlet while chewing on the lamp cord. Long day for my girl.
She can pull herself up now!

Still sticks the tongue out.

Matching white skinnies.

This was the first time we saw Grace standing up to something. Drew and I were standing in the kitchen and when we turned around there she was. We had to do a double take. She is way ahead for her age.

She also throws tantrums. Preparing for teenagehood.

Pro cart rider. The Walmart shoppers were cracking up as they walked by.

I love this girl.

We are East Coasters!

We did it! We finally left Rexburg and are on to bigger and better things. I have always dreamed of living on the East Coast and we have an amazing opportunity to do so. Drew is working out here for the summer and I could not be more excited. I fell in love with the East Coast the second I landed here. Grace loves it too. This is such a fun adventure for us and I hope we can stay out on the East Coast after he finishes his summer job.

It was a VERY long flight (two, actually) back East. Poor Grace had to sleep on the leather seat.

Excited to see Daddy.

Grace loves the huge mall that's down the road from our new house.

We have a gorgeous pond with a little dock and water fall in our backyard. Grace loves taking walks outside and seeing all of the scenery.

We live 1.5 hours from DC! We had a little family day trip on Tuesday for our anniversary. Here are some highlights.

Goodbye, Rexburg.

Leaving Rexburg is so bittersweet. I can't believe my (almost) 3 years here has come and gone. Drew has been in Rexburg for almost 7 years! Here are a few of our fondest memories.

I came to college at just 17 years old. Shae was the best roommate, friend, and maid of honor I could ever ask for. We had so much fun being single and in college. We made countless memories that I will never forget.

Drew and I were in the same ward starting as soon as I arrived at college. We didn't even talk until my second semester. Who would have thought we would end up together.

Drew and I got engaged my second semester of college, just two months after we met.

Just 4 months after meeting, we were married. Thank you, Rexburg, for bringing me an eternal companion.

Grace Lola was born September 26, 2011 at the Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho.

Drew, Grace, and I in front of our first home. We love you Rexburg and will miss you! We will especially miss our friends that have been so great to us. Until later, Rexburg.

Disneyland!

Drew graduated and we had our anniversary so I just HAD to plan a fun trip. I kept this Disney trip a secret for a whole month! Everyone knows how hard that was for me. We flew into Vegas Monday afternoon (Drew is still in shock that I bought plane tickets without him knowing) and dropped Grace off at my parents that night. We started driving and right when we hit California I started singing, "It's a Small World". Drew didn't recognize the song (haha) so I just blurted out, "We're going to Disneyland!!!" He was shocked and so excited. We spent two days there and stayed at super ghetto hotels. We literally walked on all of the rides and got fastpasses for the lines that were long. Of course, we ran through the front gates and were yelled at by several park workers. The famous Williams response is, "Screw you!!" On the last day we met up with Drew's family (another surprise) for dinner. Grace had such a fun time at Grandma and Grandpa Williams. I am so grateful we had this opportunity to reconnect. Now I know why it is so important to take time for each other and to leave the kids behind every once in a while. It was really hard leaving Grace but totally worth it!

Of course, we had to stop at the Mad Greek Cafe for one of their chocolate shakes.
Anxiously waiting for the gates to open!

She can stand up and walk holding the table (or couch) now!

Silly girl.

Gotta suck the toes.

Church goin' girl.
